| Before I go... Last post. Apparently Black Cat is also on the C&D letter from Funimation... AnimeSuki has already removed links to that particular anime. I was downloading from Oyasumi (not Shinsen-sub, who was NOT doing it)... Guess I'll see what happens next! But not tonight! and they obviously DON'T want to discuss it either... From Oyasumi's IRC channel: [ NO !list, xdcclist, @find, or DISCUSSING WHETHER OR NOT WE'RE DROPPING BLACK CAT ]' Wow... No !list??? *HTF* do you find stuff in their channel if you cannot use !list? I can understand the NO @find but certainly not the NO !list... And on that? Enough spamming from me tonight! Oyasumi!

| I am running for a dentist appointment... so I haven't had time to read my Flist and see if this has been discussed already so sorry if it has... Funimation Enforces Intelectual Property Rights (2005-12-07 17:42:17) Funimation recently informed fansub group Shinsen-Subs, "We own or control various exclusive copyrights and trademarks related to the animated motion pictures, including but not limited to, the series known as “Speed Grapher,” “Trinity Blood,” “FullMetal Alchemist,” “Dragon Ball,” “Solty Rei” a.k.a. “Origin,” “Detective Conan” a.k.a. “Case Closed,” and “Tsubasa”." This was after Funimation had contacted the registrar for Shinsen-subs domain name, resulting in the registrar, Joker.com, freezing the domain name. Solty Rei and Tsubasa have not yet been announced for release by Funimation. Source: ANNFor me? Aiiiiiiiiii... I was getting Solty Rei from them... Not that I have watched it BUT it has Nakata Jouji (THE reason I'm getting it)... This explains their tracker being down for the last week or so... This and more action on this front over the last few months is starting to justify a state of paranoia... I can only thank to heavens that I have more anime to watch on hand already as I am wondering if the gold years of digital fansubbing is reaching an end...

There you have it!

| If it's something strange in my psyche... but I've started noticing, more and more, that I prefer submerging myself into a particular manga series until I reach the end of available material rather than jumping from series to series (variety should be the spice of life... but I find it lacks in manga-reading ^_~). Of course it often makes sense as some series really need one's full concentration/attention to details ( 20th century boys is a perfect example of it) or I only have a few of all available volumes so I prefer waiting to get more ( Banana Fish is another case in point... awaiting my order right now)... or at other times, it's just that there's something about the story or the characters that grasp my attention and I can't quite put it down ( Fruits Basket / Monster were two such stories)... Different stories and mood but they " talked" to me. And Nana is presently doing the same for me... I just finished volume 4 tonight at home [I nearly missed my stop tonight as I was deep into my bubble and barely noticed I was nearly home O.O]... and I'll do something I try to avoid, usually... and start on volume 5 now (I do prefer reading my manga during travelling time to/back from work as a rule)... The characters are just growing on me, even Nana Komatsu whom I often feel like throttling... obviously I'm more of a fan of Nana Osaki (the punk singer) even though she could NOT be less similar to me but I like her... a lot! BUT I still enjoy Nana K... there are times where we can see her evolve emotionally over the story (it is also intriguing that she seems to narrate the story in flashbacks... Can't help wondering where/when the mangaka intend to stop her stories and how old the girls will be then). And to make me even happier? It's going to be animated. Of course it won't be as good as the manga (what story ever is?) but I'm already looking forward to it... and I'm really glad I have the first 11 volumes already (12th is out in December... it's standing at 13 volumes in Japanese presently) and the English readers will FINALLY be able to try it out ( Vol. 1) in December as Viz will put out the first volume... [of course one can also hit the net and look for scans but I much prefer reading BOOKS to scans, any day of the week]. But don't believe Viz's bad copy-writing... The story they describe below? Damn it's NOT the Nana I know... Nana Komatsu is a young woman who's endured an unending string of boyfriend problems. Moving to Tokyo, she's hoping to take control of her life and put all those messy misadventures behind her. She's looking for love and she's hoping to find it in the big city. Nana Osaki, on the other hand, is cool, confident and focused. She swaggers into town and proceeds to kick down the doors to Tokyo's underground punk scene. She's got a dream and won't give up until she becomes Japan's No. 1 rock'n'roll superstar. This is the story of two 20-year-old women who share the same name. Even though they come from completely different backgrounds, they somehow meet and become best friends. The world of Nana is a world exploding with sex, music, fashion, gossip and all-night parties. WTF? Where... there is sex (Nana K, mostly) but we don't see anything. It's NOT a sexual story... it's all about feelings... with strange art at times (their arms and legs can look quite spiderly in some shots) but on the other hand, she also draws them in exquisite details... like with Ren here... Nana K. did not have that many bad experiences... she just is a flutzy who had an affair with a married man at 17... She came to Tokyo at 20 to join her boyfriend Shoji. And Nana O. is NOT the tough girl they are describing... she's cool and everything but she's the one that life has roughed up a lot and she's walking along hiding her hurt state behind a tough chick facade that is anything but... As I said, I really dig her. And oh yeah... sex is NOT what it's about... and the all-night parties? Gimme a break, there has been a few but not that many in four volumes. I HATE copywriters trying to create interesting blurbs... If you do give it a try? Note that the first volume is split in two... the first half is about Nana K. The second half about Nana O. Both are about 17 then. The two girls only meet at the beginning of volume 2. And YES, it's S-H-Ô-J-O... sorry but my reading taste apparently gets similar in manga as in anything else. I don't read following "etiquettes" but what interest me. Which may mean I'll jump from yaoi to shôjo to shonen to seinen and back again... To end this ramble? Too bad none of you read French as THIS is the best description of what IS Nana I've read so far. Go on... try it. I doubt you'll be disappointed...

| Remembrance Day...
Today (November 11), like many Canadians, I'll be wearing a poppy on my shirt, in remembrance of those who gave their lives in order that I could live free. And at 11:00, I will remember the time and date (the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month) when WWI (the war that was supposed to end ALL wars) was finally over after millions of deaths... Unfortunately men forget and wars in all their nastiness are still amongst us...
In Flanders Fields By John McCrae | | Au champ d'honneur Adaptation signée Jean Pariseau | In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved, and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.
| Read more about the poem

| By Gonzo... With Nakata Jouji ( Character sheet) -- Obviously the only MAN in this anime... ^__^ Here: Solty Rei, #1. Info: Here. Japanese site: Solty Reiand he-he-he... a RahXephon reunion... Shimono Hiro (Ayato) as Uto (who looks like a cross between Ayato and Itsuki ^_^ ( Image))... Also in the cast... Noto Mamiko (Rin (Inuyasha), Nina (Monster)). Will I stick to it? No idea, lots of girls in this anime and I don't usually like a female-heavy cast as the Japanese female seiyuu's voices tend to drive me bonkers when they get pitched too high and girly... But it has Nakata so we'll see!

| What? Mirage of Blaze, of course. I'm now finished rewatching all 13 episodes and must say it's really nice to do it a second time after reading so much about the novels in the last year... made the story a LOT less confusing than the first time around... and for my clipping scenes for a future AMV? It will make watching the last 8-9 episodes I have to go through a lot easier as I know what scenes I can fast-forward to and which scenes I'll want to snip like crazy... And there's so many scenes of Saburo and Kagetora of 400 years ago, that will be nice (and there's even a few scenes of 30 yr-ago Naoe to use too)... And now for a little whine... Planetes is really great and any fan of the sci in " sci-fi" really should give the manga (4 volumes... the series is finished) a look... The French version, on the other hand, while it has all those amazing 4-page color spread every chapter and a great technical translation [and no cutting off part of the text bubbles so the speech becomes illegible -- a la Kenshin] which would normally make me recommend this version (for bilingual readers, obviously ^_^) has a HUGE drawback... (see whine below). First of all, I miss the neat little fansub explanations I got at least in the anime (not sure if TokyoPop explained those in the English release). As an example... Hachimaki? It's a nickname for he's always wearing a headband (his name is Hachirota)... not that we would know from the French manga... And now for the whine... Can I kill? L-O-C-A-L-I-Z-A-T-I-O-N? It sucks! Big time... When translating, why is a publisher only thinking of the readers in THAT country when they sell in any and all countries that speak the same language BUT most of the time won't use the same expressions? Not joking... No idea what the hell Hachimaki is saying/screaming (most of the times at Tanabe) here: "Ça fout vraiment les boules, ça!" "Sale pétasse!" "Va raconter ça à John Lennon, pauvre nase!" "T'es barge ou quoi!?"
or one of my favorite... "Ça me fout la haine qu'une morveuse idiote comme toi..."
oh yeah... That is too bad that a otherwise stellar translation got botched by all those vulgar & argotic French expressions let loose in the book... and I'm often left scratching my head... and it sure makes me reconsider getting French manga when an English version (usually cheaper) exists... one thing for sure is that I will try to see if they have an email address I can contact them at. If they do? I will complain... there is a way to use expressions without being so localized and lose the readers...
|
| But just in case... YUKIKAZE 5It's officially the 5th OVA (even though it's supposed to only be released on the 26th in Japan)... a friend finally got the file and checked it. | |
|
| I was looking at the ML (very rarely go there as I don't have enough time) and saw something. Just checked and ... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...THIS... Must order NOW!!!!... I will have the whole series... yes Ma'am! | |
|
| What, you ask? Well, sardius continued on the Giroro/Jack/Alucard/ Hijikata theme and added the Count of Gankutsuou... The imagery is crazy :P And because the Nakata link is contagious? Now sargraf caught it... so here's Stick!Nakata [Jack/Hijikata/Giroro]... Me? I'll be in that corner laughing my head off :P | |
|
| But but but... I must share... many of you have seen it already... But for those who haven't... I MUST SHARE... Forget the label... I'm not posting it for that... I posted it because... ISN'T IT JUST GORGEOUS? My boys... in a bath together (yah yah, Yukikaze is there too ^_^)... I'm so jealous of her talent (wish I could doodle that well)... Thanks 1000 times sardius, this was an amazing picture to come home to, tonight.... I had to iconize it (and wooh-hoo for now having 100 icons with our LJ). | |
|
| It helped the anime is not really THAT great... but well, having the first one in DVD, I want to complete the collection. Weiss Kreuz: Gluhen... boxset. $30 US? I can live with that... (Will probably be even cheaper once DVD Pacific has it... RightStuff has it for $22). | |
|
| BWAHAHAHAH... sargraf is crazy... My Jack & Rei of Yukikaze... after she went after them ^_^ After her MofB stick figures... and recently PoT... here's now Yukikaze!!! *lol* | |
|
| I think I'm suffering from allergies this summer. I've noticed my eyes are itchy and I'm sneezing a lot more than usual. Now, granted, it's not on the grand scale of allergy sufferers (hay fever) for whom August = HELL, but as a non-sufferer, I find this rather annoying...
And I'm still ripping through my anime for future (better quality versions) AMVs... I've finished doing the first 3 DVDs of Otogizoushi, presently doing Yukikaze then it will be on (in the next couple days/week) to RahXephon, Mirage of Blaze AND Yami no Matsuei... thank god I'm not interested in WK or GW AMVs or I'd die (way toooo many episodes, for starter).
As others know by now, apparently there's a 2nd Yami no Matsuei one-shot coming in August... I'm wondering if it means she's interested in resuming the story where she left it off over 2 years ago or if she's trying to end her contractual arrangements with the publisher so she can move ahead... but I'm probably weird that I doubt very much I'll be interested in YnM in the future... My introduction to it was the anime (and its wonderful voices... Miki, Hayami, Morikawa and Seki to name a few -- THIS anime was the start of my seiyuu *cough*Miki*cough* addiction!) and then I got the manga. And the character designs and the art was sensational... the last few calendars and scans of the last chapters AND even the previous one-shot all showed me that the art had transformed itself to a level where I'm just turned off... the delicatess of the line and art is missing and that's what had me enthralled, even before I got to Dame Theria's translations...
So a YnM where the characters are generic manga characters? Frankly that does not interest me... so that 2nd one-shot scans (if any) might be the last proof I need that I'm not ever going to be as interested in this anime as I was 4-5 years ago when I discovered it... We will see, I guess (but oh hell, if she could go back to her beautiful delicate artstyle of before AND to conclude the arc she had started around vol. 9? I'd be in heavens... ).
|
| Meet Jackroro... or maybe I should call him Nakataroro ^_^ (thanks sardius for the icon :P)... Now for a little bit of Japanese woes... Darn this language makes no sense when one is trying to learn it. I was telling colleagues at work about some peculiarities of the grammar and they were looking at me like I was speaking... well... Japanese :P I mean, take the example below, for instance: これは ちちの かんれきの しゃしん です. So this is one line of dialogue ( still chapter 3... I'm finding that trying to learn a 3rd language at 40+ is NOT the greatest idea ever -- and btw? That book is full of mistakes... not my idea of professionalism to buy something and have errors everywhere) and this line, in romanji, would stand for kore wa chichi no kanreki no shashin desu... and here the fun starts... Because of the weird way the sentence is set up in Japanese, we have: Kore これ | wa は | chichi ちち | no の | kanreki かんれき | no の | shashin desu. しゃしん です | | These | (topic particle) | father | (possessive particle) | 60th birthday | (possessive particle) | photographs are. |
So instead of a simple "These are my father's 60th birthday's photographs" or in French "Ce sont les photos du soixantième anniversaire de mon père", we have a sentence where everything is placed helter-skelter (for me, at the moment, anyway)... To make sense of it, you nearly need to start reading from the right to understand the "possessiveness" here (aka photographs OF 60th birthday OF father).
And let's not discuss numbers... or months... where obviously for lots of reasons, they use yon instead of shi (4) or nana instead of shichi (7) BUT BUT BUT... let's forget all that. When it comes to months? They use "shi" AND "shichi" so you end up with 四月(shigatsu) and 七月(shichigatsu)... AND they don't use names for the months... but the month number O.O... so yes, that sound you're hearing is Manon hitting her head, repeatedly, against the bus' "walls" on the way to work (and thank god for the GW calculators where the boys USE Japanese for numbers... not German [or cutesy Japanese] like the WK boys so I could practice #1-9 at least).
And before I go... WTF? I know I should not complain but it's rather coolish tonight... This summer's weather is off-kilter alright!
| |
|
| IF you are a Haru wo Daite ita fan? The place to be tonight? It's at the youka_nitta community. Go there: 2005 Calendar and DROOL over all those gorgeous images of the Calendar... Just to wet your appetite... here's the BIG version of the thumbnail image behind this cut ( Winter Cicada )
Arggg... there's a new chapter out (b-Boy LUV 16!!!)... It's sooo hard to follow all those chapters as I just don't have the money or incentive to get them as they get published in the magazines as I'm mostly ONLY reading that series... so VOL. 11? Come before end of year, kthanks (unless I can find a raw or Chinese scan somewhere) since I DO buy all the volumes when they are out!!!
| |
|
| In a galaxy far far away... There was Manon, one night, on her PC in Montreal (Canada)... Across the world, there was sardius in Australia... 14 hours away... a continent or several AND oceans away... about 20 YEARS away... But as nuts as me :P And that night begat the horror... aka Jackroro... in all his many incarnations... Later I discovered that the Japanese had thought of it too [darn!]... but still...A little trek on the road to memories bring... Jackroro... the one and only... the O-R-I-G-I-N-A-L... Which then begat, obviously, Alucaroro... And tonight (for me, it's tonight ^_^)... sardius finally succeeded in doing it... I give you... HIJIKATARORO!!! EDIT:... Damn! I forgot the link to these characters might be obscure for some because I've been raving about him for so long... The link is Nakata Jouji WHO voices all those characters, Jack (Yukikaze), Alucard (Hellsing) and red alien angry frog Giroro (Keroro Gunso) ^_^

| I got news!!!! HARD NEWS!!!!!
YUKIKAZE... OVAs 3-4...
OFFICIAL US RELEASE date...
From the Bandai panel at the San Diego comics con...
During the Q&A session, it was revealed that the second volume of Yukikaze, containing episodes 3 and 4, would be released on December 12. The DVD is currently in production.
Meanwhile, the fifth episode is currently in production in Japan, and is slated for an August release *we know that*. That episode will be included on the third American DVD, along with Mave-chan *sounds of Manon barfing*. Source: HereDecember 12? OMG... My Christmas gift to myself is already decided :P
|
| Or today I spam *sorry* Not...You know, since I love running counter-wise to everybody I know (contradictory mind of mine :P), I'm having fun reading my The Gokusen scans... I should be doing that to Bleach instead where I'm stopped around vol. 10 but oh well... the more people rave about the manga, the less I feel like reading it... or to be more honest, the more I'm thinking of waiting and reading it in PAPER instead of online... which also makes more sense... aka it gives money to the creator AND it's fun to read something new instead of buying material you've READ before (and I don't get headachy as much when reading from actual physical books vs. online scans). Even though I had read Monster, for example, it was in English so it was nice to read it in French but I knew the twists and turns in advance... which is a waste of money in a way... so Bleach... I might just read them later (in French) when there's more books out (presently standing around vol. 9 or 10)... So... The Gokusen... well, first, the manga does NOT have that annoying talking mutt which drove me bonkers in the anime... and Shin... oh my... My utter love/lust for Shin (and my fangirling his relationship with Kumiko -- aka Yankumi) is even stronger in the manga. I mean... she throws her sweater at him before a fight... he WRAPS it around his hips? *drool*... So yeah... I'm reading the thing on my monitor (making my small headache increase though) as this is unfortunately unavailable in either languages... | |
|
| Run to the seiyuu comm (too lazy to upload the file)... It's HERE (you must be a member to see). Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (vol. 2 I think?)... Tom Riddle? Bwahaha... voiced by... ISHIDA AKIRA! Damn... I wish we had the Japanese tracks on the DVDs instead of English (and French, in my case!). And added the info to his ANN's profile ^_^ ( Here). Edit: Thanks to insaneneko to brought this gem to my attention... :P (somehow this one did not break my mind the way Jack in "Titanic" did). | |
|
| genkischuldich found another Yukikaze trailer... much longer (1:00 min. instead of like 15 secs) BUT BUT BUT... I'm unable to download it... So I can just point you there: ADSL linkPlease note that there's scenes there that are eerily reminding me of OVA 4 (and their meeting on the ship)... not sure how come (just tripled check... actually LOTS of scenes are from previous OVAs, including the famous hanger fight)... I should know. I AMVed these scenes so I can probably recognize them in my sleep. | |
|
| WTF is up with Reload? Volume 5 is the worst one yet... missing faces, eyes, noses, etc... when not totally empty panels.
Please tell me it's not like that in the BOOKS but just in the magazines or else I'll feel badly cheated when I get to buy them...
|
| Apparently the 2nd part of chapter 40 [Emergency Door] is out.
Does anyone have a version/scan of it? (even in Chinese?) Pwetty please?
|
| I've finally started reading Saiyuki Reload, vol. 4... Is anyone knowing me surprised that when I saw that panel, I had to play with it? Repeat after me... Wahhhh... so cute!!!!!! | |
|
| Karas this time... Here... | |
|
| OMFG... Miki's message HERE??? There's a FRENCH translation ^___^ So here goes my quick and dirty translation back into English (I see myself writing to the website admin in French... Maybe he/she can translate a quick raving fan note into Japanese for Miki O.O)... Welcome to the Miki-ha website.
I am pleased to welcome you on my personal website.
This site has just reopened after several changes (minor ones?). Maybe some of you will feel that there's not that many changes... despite the length of said reorganization.
But I think the site is now easier and nicer to navigate.
As for a renewal of the content, it will, as usual, be from time to time. Please feel free to visit any time you like, for the change of seasons, for example. I will always be happy to see you again.
Shinichiro Miki * Miki-Ha = Parti Miki
This site is the personal website of Shinichiro Miki (actor). [June 30, 2005] Thud... Manon dead... Manon must write to admin :P
Ehh. I just did ^_^
| |
|
| To ALL my Japanese-enabled friends... HEREPlease please please... SUMMARIZE??? (BTW... it's Yukikaze OVA 5... after-session recording... Do I need to identify middle boy & right-side man? Thought not!). For telling me (indirectly) of the link? Thanks goes to genkischuldich | |
|
| Trinity Blood... Here... Again, by FUNimation who appears to be on a Gonzo kick! Gahh. I was getting the A-E & Conclave version... Conclave being a lot of the ex-Anime-Keep staff. Guess they'll drop it too. Will have to check what Mahou does... or else I'll just drop the whole series since I only saw the first (or was it the first 2?) episodes, anyway... | |
|
| Finally... some more new episodes of Monster... Here: Ep. 56Ep. 57That made my day... | |
|
| I can already hear the fanboys/girls scream... No!!!!!!!New Bandai Licenses (2005-07-02 18:19:09) Bandai Entertainment announced at their Anime Expo panel today that they have acquired Mai-Hime.They also confirmed the obvious license for Gundam Seed Destiny. | |
|
| Heeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Also went to the DMP panel where the big news was that they licensed the "Only the Ring Finger Knows" novel. Since I got the manga earlier (thanks to paxnirvana) I've been in love with this story... that's one series of novels I'm looking forward to buy! Now if ONLY they could license Sakende Yaruze or even better... Mirage of Blaze (all 40+ novels ^_~). | |
|
| WHINE!!!!!
Why is it that there's no floating around anywhere clip of Winter Cicada? I saw a trailer that looked gorgeous and since then... nyet... zilch... nada!
I want to see the thing. Raw or Chinese sub, I don't care... I just want to see it and drool *and cry*
|
| There's a show on Discovery Canada right now... all about "Xtreme Martial Arts" and the science behind the hits... It replays at 2:00 pm and oh boy will I tape this... Lots of very nice bodies in action there, often half-dressed...
Me see sketching in my future in front of the TV set watching those guys :P

| BONNE FÊTE
NATIONALE
June 24 is our Fête Nationale!
It used to be a religious holiday, then became the holiday for all French-Canadians and in the 1970s (or early 80s) it became our "National" statutory holiday in the province of Quebec... While I'm Canadian and hope to stay so until I die, I am also French... my roots are French and therefore tomorrow is a celebration of it... In honor of this, all my entries until end of day tomorrow will be bilingual, starting with French at top. I'll return my LJ to my normal broadcast Saturday :P

| Extract from ANN ( Here) The second season of Gantz will be released on 4 discs with a 4/3/3/3 episode count. The episode count for season one (13 episode over 6 discs) was an experiment. ADV had been hearing from many people, particularly high school and college students, that $30 DVDs are too expensive. They wanted to try an experiment in lower pricing, and chose a popular series so that it could not be said that the experiment failed because the test subject show was unpopular. While Gantz sold very well, they believe it would have sold just as well regardless of the release format. Furthermore, the release format increased production costs for ADV. It is unlikely that ADV will release any more series in this manner. WE could have told them same... Isn't amazing to think they never considered that it would be more costly for them to create DVD with low-count number of episodes on them... | |
|
| The newest? Speed Grapher... by FUNimation (who recently also licensed Basilisk). Not that I personally care since I disliked both anime... | |
|
| Because this annoys the crap out of me! Anyone who watches MONSTER and read Japanese? Who the f**k plays Roberto? He's quite the nasty but somehow the identity of his seiyuu has NEVER been mentionned at ANN and it's driving me bonkers (I don't like him... I wonder if it's because of the character that I hate his voice so much or what ^_~). Edit: Here's the name, btw...
| |
|
| Icon ♥ I don't know why I crack for chibi*... but I always do... and while I'm only mid-through the episode, it had both chibi AND Engrish. What not to like? Addendum: And I STILL don't trust Murata Ken... not sure if it's because I have this knee-jerk's reaction to his seiyuu (probably the only place where I REALLY liked that guy was in RahXephon) or just the dark hints all around him... and his deviousness... Liked the big brother shtick though (lucky Yuri to invoke so much loyalty in the people around him). I wish we could see the whole Shibuya family more often... * I lied... it's because I'm a big baby at heart and I do get that "kawaii" aspect of the Japanese mind | |
|
| For all those of you who remembered my lone fangirling of this title for so long... until everyone jumped on the friggin' bandwagon like 3 eps before the end :P Like Otogizoushi before, they said it better than I could ever do... Planetes. | |
|
| Kyou Kara Maou... ep. 42 HEREOh... and also... Gunlock... ep. 6 HERE. | |
|
| It's warm but the sun is not really there... Edit: It's there now :P Who cares... I'm having "fun" (I must be sick) reading through some of sargraf's older threads (the Mirage of Blaze ones, of course) and the conversations in such posts... Honestly? The crack!angst of MofB could be ONE strong incentive to learn Japanese if there ever was one (and the Yukikaze novels too, of course ^_^). | |
|
| I'm sure I'll be doing many of those entries before the summer is over. Funimation has announced they have Basilisk (info)... Here. | |
|
| aka that Bandai will be releasing OVAs 3 & 4 together in 2005 (I mentioned it months ago... and that OVA 5 will contain Mave on it *ewww*). And then I see someone put THAT up... OPERATION 5... |
| Bleach fans... or should I say Abarai Renji fangirls? ^___^ He's played by Itou Kentarou -- 伊藤 健太郎 (aka THIS guy)... ^___^ He's in HARU OVA 2... playing 漆崎 一成... aka Kazunari Urushizaki (aka the paparazzi) who was also the lovesick neighbour of Kato in the first volume of Haru the manga... And LOOK who plays Katsuya Kikuchi (aka the actor)... Narita Ken -- 成田剣 (aka THIS guy... aka FLUFFY-sama*!!!!!!!!!!) *That, in case you did not know, is SESSHOMARU in Inuyasha | |
|
| My HARU folder is a MESS...
But once it's cleaned up, I'll be able to put up some stuff...
BTW? Apparently OVA 2 was out in Japan last week... Now the fun starts to find the Chinese fansub or Japanese rip so I can see it [hopefully the Winter Cicada short clip will be part of the package]...

| Now I see why Pira was all over Innocent Bird... darn, I'm looking forward to the next chapter (the art is amazingly beautiful and the character designs s-t-r-i-k-i-n-g... and the story itself is quite interesting indeed). And that coming from a non-fan of angels/demons stories... but I'm making quite an exception here! | |
